ah… so very much ink and pixiles have been spilled (and illuminated) in the name of a little detroitian boy named sufjan… and it’s pretty much all true. i don’t even know what the 2008 Brendan Gill Prize is, but you bet your ass he won it for BQE; his lyric-less ode to that great ribbon of Moses’ vison for the big apple.

i guess it was supposed to come in in 2007?? whatever. it’s awesome. such great everything music. morning, cooking, road tripping… please do yourself a favorite and enjoy all thirty minutes of it sometime in a single sitting.
