you know, when you’re down and nothing seems to make sense, it’s always best to listen to some good music. i’m a personal fan of those songs that are sad to begin with; you get a lot of commiseration plus it feels maybe no so sad compared to the song you’re hearing.
so i’m shoveling snow today and Paul Simon’s Hearts and Bones comes on ye ole ipod. god, this version is so good, even the idiots whistling in the front row finally shut up and listen.
and you know when you’re in love and it hurts so bad and all the lyrics just start to make sense, even though they don’t? yeah, that too.
